Congratulations to the Cougar track teams as the boys won the SWOC Championship for the first time in league history and the first time since 2008. The girls finished 3rd. The teams combined for 6 Event Champions named 1st Team All-SWOC; they include Kaylin Lawson in the 100-meter hurdles, long jump, and high Jump; Radical Rothermel - shot put; Riley Payne 110 high hurdles, and Jon Testas - high jump. The teams combined for 31 overall medalists; 14 silver medalists were named 2nd team All-SWOC; they include Radical Rothermel - discus; Aaron Frazier - high jump & 200-meter dash; Riley Payne - 300 Intermediate hurdles; members of the 400-meter relay - Jon Testas, Brick Barker, Riley Payne, and Braden Sullivan; members of the 1600 meter relay - Connor Cooper, Braden Fitzwater, Riley Payne, and Stephen Bright; Kaylin Lawson - 300 intermediate hurdles; and Chloe Meyer - 200-meter dash. All-SWOC honorable mention recipients were Abbi Fall and Sam Everson. SWOC Sportsmanship Award recipients - Olathe Seigla and Ashlynn Williams. SWOC Track and Field - "Field Event Athletes of the Year" were Radical Rothermel and Kaylin Lawson; Boys Coach of the Year - Coach Frank Russo
