Coming up quick!
Wednesday, February 5th from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm, there will be a Family Information Night for Edgewood's future preschool and kindergarten students. It will be held at Edgewood Middle School Auditorium (5005 Busenbark Road). We will be discussing Edgewood's preschool lottery and how your child can be entered for a chance at a spot in our preschool program!
We will also be discussing when kindergarten enrollment begins and what is needed.
This is also a great time to learn more about the curriculum and have any questions you have answered! We can't wait to see you there on February 5th!
Congratulations to our band students that performed at District 13 Honor Band last weekend! They auditioned for this group back in December with around 1,600 other local band students.

There will also be a bonus performance from our middle school show choir, The Overtures! Don't miss the chance to support the music program and these amazingly dedicated students as they kick off their season!

January is board member appreciation month and the staff at Edgewood City Schools would like to extend our gratitude to each of our current board members for the leadership and dedication they have in supporting our students, staff, and community. At last night's organizational meeting for the Edgewood Board of Education, Mr. Gary Gabbard was sworn in as Board President and Mr. Michael Pressler was sworn in as Vice President. On Wednesday, February 5th, there will be a Parent Information Night for Edgewood's future preschool and kindergarten students. This information night will help families understand when kindergarten enrollment begins, what is needed, etc. For preschool families this night will include information about our preschool lottery, how to enter your child in Edgewood's preschool lottery, and once your child has been selected what the next steps include.
This is also a great time to learn more about the curriculum that both preschool and kindergarten uses here at Edgewood! Join us and learn more about the exciting first steps in your child's educational journey!
