Edgewood's Zach Apple Anchors USA in Gold Medal Performance
Edgewood alumnus Zach Apple opened his Olympic debut with a world-class performance anchoring the 400 Freestyle Relay to a gold medal. He and his teammates Caeleb Dressel, Blake Pieroni, and Bowe Becker posted the third-fastest time in history. Apple, who has become one of the best relay performers in the American arsenal and split 46.69 on the anchor leg, handled the finishing touches. Zach will compete on Tuesday in the 100 freestyle and is listed as a member of the 800 freestyle relay.

The Edgewood Boys and Girls Soccer Programs are hosting a Youth Development Camp July 26th-28th. Students in grades 3-5 will be 5-6:30pm. Students in grades 6-8 will be 6:30-8pm. GIRLS TENNIS TRYOUTS grades 9-12 will begin on August 2nd at the Foresthills Sportsplex, located at 800 2nd Avenue, Middletown, Ohio. Arrive by 3:45. Bring water/Gatorade, towel. REMINDER: mandatory meeting for all interested will be at the school courts location on 29 July at 6:30 p.m.
Girls and Boys Grades 6-8 : Coach Mike, the high school Varsity Coach, will hold a tennis info session at the middle school courts location on 29 July, from 7:15 to 8:00 p.m. All interested should attend. The Covid Strike team will be back at Edgewood Middle School on Thursday, July 15th, from 10:00 AM - 2:00PM to provide the June 17th adults and students their 2nd dose of the vaccine. Adults or students who are interested in being vaccinated may register. See attached flyer.
