Reminder: No School for Students Tuesday, Nov. 8th

Winter is still far from our thoughts but past years have shown us that Ohio weather can be a challenge and snow closures have taken place as early as October, so we have been very lucky with this warm weather so far this fall. That being said, we do want all of our families and staff to be prepared in case school is canceled or delayed due to inclement weather. Edgewood City Schools utilizes many forms of communication to inform families in the event of inclement weather, or an emergency, including our district website, mobile app, phone calls, emails, and social media.
For Edgewood Parents/Guardians:
We encourage you to download our mobile app (Edgewood City Schools, OH) to receive notifications if school is canceled or delayed due to weather. Please download our mobile app- it’s FREE (on Google Play or the App Store) and make certain to set up notifications.
In addition to our mobile app, we will also use the primary phone number and email you entered in Final Forms to contact you in case of a school cancellation, delay, or an emergency situation. Please log on to https://www.edgewoodschools.com/page/final-forms to verify that your primary contact information is correct.
We will place a notification on Edgewood's district website as well as Facebook: /EdgewoodCitySchools, Twitter: @EdgewoodCougs or you can watch the local TV news stations for updates.
For Edgewood Staff:
We encourage you to download our mobile app (Edgewood City Schools, OH) to receive notifications if school is canceled or delayed due to weather.
The district will also contact you through your school email as well as your personal email and phone number you provided in case of a school cancellation, delay, or an emergency situation. Staff members should contact MaryAnn in the Technology Department if they need to make a change to their personal email or phone number.
We will place a notification on Edgewood's district website as well as Facebook: /EdgewoodCitySchools, Twitter: @EdgewoodCougs, or you can watch the local TV news stations for updates.
School Closures and Their Impact on Outside Events:
If school is closed on a Friday due to inclement weather, there will be no outside events including youth sports on Saturday directly following that closure. However, there could be EHS events that may still take place at the discretion of the administration.

Choralier Fundraiser Tonight!

Edgewood/Butler Tech FFA Turkey Trot

Last week select Edgewood High School students participated in the Anthony Munoz Youth Leadership Seminar alongside other high school students from the Greater Cincinnati area. EHS students were selected from the Edgewood Athletic Department by the high school coaches.
This year’s theme, (Un)Written, challenged student leaders to explore their own stories. Students dove into how what is already written can define future chapters in their lives. They were encouraged to imagine what comes next after high school. Speakers throughout the day shared their own stories and motivated students to grow into the type of leaders that are worth being followed. EHS students left the event challenged and motivated to have a greater impact on their school and community.
Edgewood High School is thankful for their partnership with the Anthony Munoz Foundation and the impact it has had on the lives of EHS students for over fifteen years.
