Railroad Crossing Closures - Expect Delays
We were just notified this morning that there are several railroad crossings that have been closed for repairs or will be closed soon. Expect delays in your child’s bus transportation as we navigate around these areas.
Your drive to school or work will also be delayed. Please give yourself extra time as you leave for work or school.
The roads we have received information about include:
Pierson Road, Trenton Road by EHS, and Jackson Road are now closed, however, State Street and Morganthaler Road are open at this time but have been reported to us as closures so they could possibly close at any time.
Thank you for your understanding.

In remembrance of September 11, 2001, all those who lost their lives, those who demonstrated unimaginable bravery, and the first responders who ran into the danger against the human instinct to flee, we would like to share the following pictures and information about how some of the youngest Edgewood students honored first responders this past Friday.
Thank you to all who participated and to all first responders who serve our community and others across the country each and every day!
EPS Message: “Friday, in remembrance of September 11, Edgewood Primary School honored our First Responders. We said the Pledge of Allegiance together and had a moment of silence. K-9 Officer Root worked with K-9 Max to show us how obedience is important when they work together to help keep the community safe. Trenton PD, Trenton Fire Department, and EMS along with Seven Mile Fire Department and EMS came to share with us their vehicles and safety equipment they use for keeping us safe or helping us when we are in need. Thank you First Responders for all you do for our communities!”

Congratulations to our “First Day of School Photo Contest” winners at EECC. Thank you to all who submitted photos and participated in this event. I loved seeing the photos as I am sure our followers did. All of the students were adorable and I am certain it was difficult for those who were voting to choose their favorite. The students who received the most likes on Facebook in the allotted time were Logan Barker, Tyler Combs, and Clay Elmlinger. Again thank you and congratulations!
