Edgewood City Schools

Our EMS 8th Grade Student Council had a great time participating in the Student Council Exchange with the Monroe Jr. High Hornets on November 7 and 8.  This exchange was designed so each school could serve as host on one of the two-day event.  During the exchange, students spent time getting to know each other as well as sharing ideas about fundraising projects, community service activities as well as discussing common issues and solutions. They also shadowed each other in class each day. The feedback from the participants was very positive and they look forward to putting new ideas and activities into place. A big Thank You goes out to Mr. Stratton and Mrs. Hunt for organizing this event.
