Hello Edgewood Middle Schools Families!
It is awesome to have the students back whether in person or remotely. The students have done a fabulous job of adjusting to all of the changes!
Facial Coverings

We want everyone to stay safe and healthy during this time.
Backpacks
If you purchased binders for any of your student's classes, per the Supply List, we realize these are causing their backpacks to be overloaded. Any student who is using a binder is allowed to replace it with a 2 pocket folder
We are trying to keep what the students carry to a minimum.
Arrival
Students are allowed to enter the building beginning at 7:05AM
When dropping students off in the morning, please make sure they are exiting the vehicle quickly. This allows traffic to flow continuously.
We have our resource officer along with myself and teachers directing traffic and assisting students in the morning.
We will continue to assess the traffic flow over the next week and make changes where necessary.
Those changes will be communicated to all Edgewood Middle School families when and if they are made.
Dismissal
Student dismissal begins at 2:00PM
We run a staggered dismissal so all of the students are not in the hallway at the same time.
We work our way through all of the buses and then move on to car riders and walkers.
Any student who walks home is being asked to leave through the front of the building to avoid walking through the bus lines.
There have been so many changes and I want to thank all of you for being patient during this time. The school year has been an adjustment for everyone and we will continue to work through all of the kinks as they arise.
