Parents/Guardians,
At the beginning of the year, our students at EMS take a benchmark assessment to give our teachers an understanding of where each student is academically and what their needs might be. They use this information for planning lessons, interventions and or enrichments for our students.
We will be administering the STAR Assessments on September 22nd, 23rd and 24th. We are asking that you sign up for a time to bring your student to Edgewood Middle School to complete these assessments. Please click on this link EMS STAR Testing Sign up and choose the time that best meets the needs of your family.
You will drop your child off to the front office. At this point the students will go to the cafeteria to take their assessment. Plan on your child testing for around an hour.
Please remember to have your student wear a mask.
