Life Skills Gift Exchange

Students in Mr. Wells and Mrs. Dainton's Life Skills class used profits from sales of student-made crafts at the Edgewood Craft Show to engage in a student Secret Santa.  Students drew names of classmates and shopped at Five Below for their person.  While in the community, students also learned how to find assistance in Target, learned how to price check, and did some price comparison.  In Pet Smart, students heard from employee Emily about what her job entails and walked through the store discussing the varying job responsibilities there.  For lunch, the class had learned about buffet etiquette and were given the opportunity to put their learning into practice at Twin Dragon Buffet.  Upon returning to school, students wrapped their gifts before enjoying their gift exchange.  A good time was had by all.
