If your child is having difficulty with decoding, blending and or fluency come see us tonight. If your child can read, but you as a parent want to stay up on the best strategies to support your child at home come to EPS tonight at 6:00 PM. We will meet in the Media Center. I hope that you are able to join us for a discussion about increasing student success.

Back-to-School Dates 2023-2024: First and Second grade students at Edgewood Primary School will have a STAGGERED START for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. Students with last names beginning with A-M will start on August 17th, 2023 (and will not attend on August 18th). Students with last names beginning with N-Z- will start August 18th, 2023 (and will not attend August 17th). All students report on August 21st, 2023.

EPS Summer hours for June are 8:30-11:00 and 12:00-3:00 each day. If you do not reach someone, please leave a message at 513-867-3430 ext. 5011. Tonight is EPS Spirit night at Chick-fil-a from 5-8 pm at the Bridgewater store. Please remember to tell them you are with EPS BEFORE ordering or they will not give us the 20% proceeds to the fundraiser.

Come out to Chick-fil-a for EPS Spirit Night. Whether dining in or going through the drive thru from 5-8 mention that you are supporting EPS Sprit Night BEFORE ordering. EPS will receive 20% of the profit.

Good Afternoon EPS Parents and Guardians, All parents and guardians should have the pick up placards. If you are picking up for a car rider put this in the passenger side window. If you do not have the placard, you will have to go to the pick up area at the main entrance to verify that we can dismiss the child to you. If you are a walk-up parent and park then walk up, please park in the parking lot off of Cypress. If you are walking from Maple Avenue, you will not be permitted to walk past the buses. You must walk around on the sidewalk that is on the far side of the parent car rider area. All parents/guardians that have their placards will have their students dismissed to them first. If you do not have your placard, you will have to wait in a line so that staff can verify in final forms that you are permitted to pick up the student. Good Morning Edgewood Primary Families, The start of the day was great! I wanted to remind families that you must have your pick up placard in the window of your vehicle for car riders. If you did not pick one up at Open House you will need to come to the walk-up area to pick up your child, which is now at the side door by the main entrance. You must present your license or photo identification when picking up without the placard. All parents/guardians walking up will also need to present the placard for us to dismiss students. Dear Edgewood Parents, Guardians and Staff, District officials have learned of a national social media “challenge” that is rumored to occur on Friday, December 17, 2021. The challenge is for students to threaten their local schools across the nation. Currently, we are unaware of any immediate threats towards Edgewood City Schools or students. It is always important to remain vigilant when it involves any types of rumors about alleged “threats.” We take the safety of our students and staff very seriously. In addition to having a school resource officer in every building, we partner with local law enforcement at the Butler County Sheriff’s Office and Trenton Police Department. Whenever there is a potential threat against our students, staff, or school, we immediately investigate the situation and contact these agencies. As always, if students or families become aware of any threat to our schools, we ask that they inform a school administrator or alert local authorities. Our district also has a hotline that parents and students may access at any time. Suppose any student is found to be engaging in any of these behaviors. In that case, we will follow the code of conduct, which will result in severe disciplinary action and intervention by law enforcement. Monday, Dec. 6th is "Cougar Monday" at Todd's IGA! ALL GAS PUMPS will donate 3-cents per gallon to the Stadium Renovation Project. Use your Alt.ID Rewards # to donate 6-cents per gallon. The Cougar pump has been designated as a daily pump to donate to the stadium reno project.
