Edgewood City School Families,
Edgewood Middle School has a great contactless fundraiser taking place right now. The goal is $60,000 in total sales. If the students reach this goal, I will pack all my gear and camp out on the roof of the building for the night. If they hit $70,000 in total sales, I will pick the top seller to shave my head during a zoom meeting with all the students during 7th Bell. I will also Facebook Live this event for all to see and enjoy.
Here is the website and my seller ID:
https://store.midwestfundraising.com/BTEMSV20
Seller ID: 49198011
If you don't want to use mine, find a middle school student who is selling and use their Seller ID. Either way, it helps EMS and gets us one step closer to our goal of $60,000 in total sales.
The last day for this fundraiser is Wednesday, December 9th. Help us reach our goal. If everyone does a little, it becomes a lot.
Thank you for your support,

Football coaches & cheer parents will be contacted by their student-athlete's coach about online ticket availability later today. For all other students, family members, staff, and our Edgewood community, GENERAL ADMISSION WILL BE LIMITED! If tickets are available to the general public (this limitation is due to the 15% seating capacity restrictions placed on all school athletic facilities), they will be available to order ONLINE ONLY starting at 9:00 am on Friday morning, August 28. Freshman Football Game at Fenwick- Thursday, August 27
Varsity Football Game at Fenwick- Friday, August 28

You can access the game through the link below, it's FREE of charge. Kickoff is at 7:00 pm.

We are waiting on numbers and students who have chosen remote learning in order to run student schedules. Our goal is to make sure that everyone who is returning for face-to-face instruction is safe.

Edgewood Middle School - Remember to stop by EMS today between 10-12 if you need paper copies of the resources created by the teacher. If you have any questions about those resources, email your child's teacher for clarification. Staff Directory: http://edgewoodoh.apptegy.us/o/ems/staff

Scanning, emailing or mailing home work is a difficult task due to the size of many of the packets that are available as resources for your child to work through. Please email your child's teacher if you need any information or resources during this time.

Parents,
We will be at the EMS from 10-12 tomorrow at the Main Entrance for anyone wanting to pick up work. This work is not any different from Monday. Please have the names of your child's teachers and subjects when you arrive for faster pick up.

Edgewood Middle School Parents,
Please take a moment to read the following letter regarding the activities the teachers have put together for your child during this time of Remote Learning: https://5il.co/dz7l

We are currently working on putting together a document and updating the web site to share the activities and assignments the teachers would like the students to complete during this time.
We realize that not everyone has access to the internet to retrieve these materials, so we are working on making hard copies for pick up. Once everything has been copied, I will send out a schedule. There will be tables set up that have folders with the teacher's name on it. Inside these folders will be the same activities as what is posted online.
We ask you for your patience as we prepare these materials for your students.

Due to all activities in the Edgewood School District being suspended or postponed, the middle school outstanding student VIP Breakfast for Friday morning, 3/13 has been cancelled.

All of our schools will be conducting safety drills from September 25- October 4. These drills have been scheduled to ensure students and staff members are prepared in the event of an active and aggressive emergency situation. Our drills will be conducted in partnership with the Butler County Sheriff Office and the Trenton Police Department.
It is important you know these drills are planned. This precaution is being taken so that anyone who overhears any conversation, receives text messages or emails about a drill would not mistake it as a real world emergency. Once a drill starts, any communications will begin and end with "This is a drill" so all participants know the communication is related to the planned drill. In the event a real world emergency would occur during a drill, the phrase "Real World Emergency" will be issued over our communication systems.
