Edgewood Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for the class of 2022

EDGEWOOD HALL OF FAME

The Edgewood Hall of Fame induction will take place on Thursday, January 13, 2022, in the high school cafeteria. Inductees will also be honored on Friday, January 14, at the men’s basketball game.

To be considered for nomination, a nomination form must be submitted to the Hall of Fame Committee on or before November 1, 2021. A nomination form can be obtained from the Edgewood Athletic Director's office, Edgewood High School's main office, or the Edgewood District website www.edgewoodschools.com. In order for a candidate to be nominated, the entire form must be completely filled out and returned to the address on the Athletic Hall of Fame Nomination Form. Anyone may nominate a candidate. 

NOMINATION CRITERIA:
Athlete: EHS graduate will be considered after ten years after graduation. Seven Mile, Trenton, or Wayne graduates may be nominated. Earned one of the following: Varsity letter, All-League, All-District, All-County, All-State, and or All American. Special consideration shall be given for record-setting, state championship, or accomplishments at the collegiate or higher level. 

Coach: Former EHS, Seven Mile, Trenton, or Wayne's head or assistant coach. Must have made an outstanding contribution to the athletic program during his/her tenure. Other factors shall be considered for coaches whose teams earned multiple league titles or district/regional/state recognition—retirement from the position they once held at the school.

SPECIAL NOMINATION:
Athletic Booster, community member, or business has made significant contributions to the athletic programs over an extended period of time. Nominations shall be considered case-by-case basis with no more than one selection per Hall of Fame year.
