Edgewood High School is excited to announce that there will be a prom and in-person graduation in 2021! This year’s prom will be held at Lake Lyndsay on May 8th, 2021. Due to COVID restrictions by the Butler County Board of Health, we will have a split prom to allow the maximum number of people and safely follow the health guidelines.
We are surveying the juniors and seniors to determine the potential attendance for prom and the split session times. It is crucial that juniors and seniors complete the survey by Wednesday, April 14th.
Tickets will be available for purchase starting Thursday, April 22nd. The cost for tickets will be $25 a ticket. Masks MUST be worn at all times, except when actively eating and drinking. If a student refuses to wear a mask correctly, they will be sent home. A list of prom rules and exceptions will be provided when tickets are purchased.
Graduation
The class of 2021 will have in-person graduation at Kumler Field on Tuesday, June 1st at 7:00 pm. If there is inclement weather on June 1st, we will move graduation to Wednesday, June 2nd at the same time and location. Families of graduating seniors will have the opportunity to acquire up to 10 tickets for graduation. Seating for graduation will be in the home and away bleachers with additional seating on the track. Information on how to acquire tickets will be emailed to families by May 15th.
