We are proud to announce that Edgewood Freshman, Tiffany Schatzle, won a $400 scholarship from the Veterans Auxiliary Group in Fairfield. She wrote about her voice in Democracy. “United we stand, divided we fall... we need to forget about political parties because they will divide our country, making it weak. We need to present a united front before our country inevitably falls. Voting allows our voices to be heard.“
Due to Covid, the group could not come to the high school personally to honor Tiffany for her accomplishments. Tiffany won first place for her essay. This is her third scholarship in the past year. Tiffany supports our veterans and says veteran’s sacrifices are the reason she has freedoms.
