Edgewood Athletic Spectator Guidelines

On the evening of August 19, the Ohio Department of Health, in partnership with the OHSAA, released the Ohio Department of Health Director's Order that Provides Mandatory Requirements for Youth, Collegiate, Amateur, Club, and Professional Sports. This information has been reviewed by our Athletic Director and the following guidelines have been created for our district's Spectators Guidelines for Athletic Sporting Events. Information included in this document are: OSHAA Return to Play Recommendations, specific recommendations for each fall sport, capacity restrictions for athletic facilities, ticketing guidelines, spectator guidelines, concessions, and away games ticket availability.

We are excited that our Edgewood student-athletes will have a season this fall, but recognize the new requirements will dramatically impact how our athletic events must be managed. Most notably, the number of spectators allowed into our athletic facilities have been reduced to 15% of the seating capacity for each venue. Plans are underway to live-stream many of our events online so our Edgewood families, students, staff, and community members will be able to see our student-athletes compete. Details regarding these plans will be posted through our district's social media pages in advance of the event.

Information regarding Edgewood Marching Band Spectator Guidelines will be issued separately in the near future.
