Here are the details regarding the rescheduled Kindergarten screenings dates and our Kindergarten students first day of school:

  • Kindergarten Screenings:

    • Students and parents will meet a staff member at the door for the student to be escorted to the screening.  Parents are welcome to wait in their car but should remain on the premises.

    • Masks are required on school premises.

    • Students who were originally scheduled for their screening on August 19 have been rescheduled for their screening appointment on Monday, August 31 at the same time they were scheduled on August 19.

    • Students who were originally scheduled for their screening on August 20 have been rescheduled for their screening appointment to Tuesday, September 1 at the same time they were scheduled on August 20.

    • If a parent/guardian has any questions regarding your child’s screening appointment or you need to reschedule your child’s appointment, please contact your child’s school at:

      • Babeck Early Childhood Center: (513) 867-3430, Monday-Friday from 9:00 am- 3:30 pm

      • Seven Mile Elementary School: (513) 867-3420, Monday-Friday from 9:00 am- 3:30 pm

  • First Day of School:

    • Kindergarten students with last names starting A-K will attend their first day of school on Thursday, September 3. 

      • They will not attend school on Friday, September 4 or Monday, September 7 (Labor Day). 

      • They will return to school on Tuesday, September 8 and will follow their normal all day schedule.

      • This is the start date for students who are attending school in-person or who have enrolled in remote learning.

    • Kindergarten students with last names starting L-Z will attend their first day of school on Friday, September 4. 

      • They will not attend school on Monday, September 7 (Labor Day). 

      • They will return to school on Tuesday, September 8 and will follow their normal all day schedule.

      • This is the start date for students who are attending school in-person or who have enrolled in remote learning.

(Note: If you have a child who has enrolled in Preschool at our Babeck Early Childhood  Center, information regarding the start date for Preschoolers and the Preschool Screenings is being finalized and is expected to be released next week).
