Meal Pickup Program to Continue through the End of this School Year:
  • Gov. DeWine announced Monday, April 20 that schools will remain closed for the rest of this school year (2019-2020). 

  • Our district has made plans to continue our Meal Pickup program through the end of our school year. Meals will be provided for students, ages 1-18, every Monday and Wednesday through May 20. 

  • Meals will be available for pickup at Babeck and Edgewood Elementary school from 11 am- Noon.  

  • Next week’s pickup dates are: 

    • Monday, April 27

    • Wednesday, April 29

Paper Copies of Assignments:

For families who do not have access to assignments online, paper copies of assignments will be available to pickup at:

  • Babeck Early Childhood:

    • Wednesday, April 29 from 11 am- Noon

  • Edgewood Elementary School:

    • Wednesday, April 29 from 11 am- Noon

    • If you come later than Noon on Wednesday, packets of paper assignments will be in boxes labeled by grade at the front entrance of EES for your convenience. These will be available to pick up through the end of day on Thursday, April 30.

  • Edgewood Middle School:

    • There will be new assignments every week until the end of the school year. Here are the dates and pickup times:

      • Wednesday, April 29 from 11 am- 1 pm

      • Monday, May 4 from 11 am - 1 pm

      • Monday, May 11 from 11 am- 1 pm

      • Monday, May 18 from 11 am- 1 pm

➽ Attention EMS Students: Spring pictures from Lifetouch can also be picked up at EMS during these dates and times.

  • Edgewood High School:

    • Wednesday, April 29 from 10 am- Noon

    • Senior banners can be picked up from 10 am- Noon

  • Seven Mile Elementary School:

Shared Harvest has scheduled a Drive Through Food Distribution event - Saturday, May 2:

  • Click here for information about the upcoming food distribution event that will take place at Fairfield High School on Saturday, May 2 from 10 am- 2 pm.  Anyone needing food or assistance is welcome.

Results from the WLWT Channel 5 “Day of Giving” Event:

  • Thursday, April 23, Edgewood City Schools participated in WLWT’s Day of Giving event to help students and families in our community.

  • We designated Edgewood Ministerial Association to receive 100% of the donations. 

  • The EMA and Edgewood wish to express our sincerest thanks to those who gave during the event. 

  • The EMA received over 150 donations exceeding $2500! These donations will help many students and families in our community through the EMA Food Pantry, Backpack Program, and the Local Emergency Assistance Fund (L.E.A.F).

Change to Work Permit Requirements for Students:

  • The State of Ohio has temporarily suspended the requirement for schools needing to sign/approve Work Permits for students. This suspension was put into effect during the COVID-19 health crisis.

  • All other requirements for completing a Work Permit must still be completed by the student.

  • Students needing a copy of their latest physical, in order to complete their Work Permit, will need to contact their building principal via email for assistance.
