Our Edgewood/Butler Tech FFA hosted the National FFA Officer team on February 10. The officers presented workshops and keynote speeches to all our Edgewood/Butler Tech classes as well as to members of the Ross and Talawanda FFA chapters. As part of the day's activities, FFA members from all the local chapters presented a $850.00 check to the Puerto Rico FFA to assist with earthquake relief efforts. One of the National Officers, Yomar Roman, is from Puerto Rico. He was deeply touched by this generous gift and shared his heartfelt thanks to everyone on behalf of those impacted by these disasters.
