Valentines Day is this Friday, February 14th, and the Children's Hospital is helping patients celebrate the special day. For the last few years, Cincinnati Children's has been giving out cards from the community to its patients. Due to the concern of infection, the messages are sent digitally, printed for the patients and delivered by hospital staff.
The idea started because of a tweet from a Kentucky teen who asked her friends and followers to send messages to patients. The tweet went viral and the young patients were overwhelmed with messages.
