Character Day

Nearly 150 seniors spent Monday, November 25 interacting, exploring, and learning more about one another and the importance of building relationships.  Several EHS staff members along with Mr. Calvin Woodrey, Mayor of Trenton, worked alongside the participants.  They learned that building character sometimes requires you to retrain your attitude and it requires conscious action and commitment. The day was filled with a lot of discussion, self-reflection, and relationship building. All of these activities helped to reveal how important kindness, gratitude, leadership, empathy, and grit plays in building character which ultimately makes you a better person.
