It’s hard to believe that winter will soon be here! We want all our families and staff to be prepared in case school is cancelled or delayed due to inclement weather.  

Edgewood City Schools utilizes many forms of communication to inform families in the event of inclement weather or an emergency, including our mobile app, phone calls, emails, social media, and our website. Click here to learn more about our Inclement Weather Guidelines

For Edgewood Parents/Guardians: 

  • Edgewood City Schools will use our mobile app (Edgewood City Schools, OH) to announce school cancellations or delays due to weather. Please download our mobile app- it’s FREE (on Google Play or the App Store) and make certain to set up notifications!  
  • In addition to our mobile app, we will also use the primary phone number and email you entered in Final Forms to contact you in case of a school cancellation, delay, or an emergency situation. Please log on to Final Forms to verify that your primary contact information is correct.

For Edgewood Staff: 

  • We encourage you to download our mobile app (Edgewood City Schools, OH) to receive notifications if school is cancelled or delayed due to weather.  
  • The district will also contact you through your school email as well as your personal email and phone number you provided in case of a school cancellation, delay, or an emergency situation. Staff members should contact Chris Andrews, Director of Technology, at chris.andrews@edgewoodschools.net if you need to make a change to your personal email or phone number.
