Our EHS FFA students have a lot to be proud of today. Their $10,000 donation will go towards providing flights to Washington D.C. for veterans who served in WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. This amount will provide over 110 veterans the opportunity to experience a Honor Flight this year. This is just a small token of our appreciation for the service our veterans have provided to our country.
In addition to sponsoring this flights for veterans, two EHS FFA students were selected to chaperone the veterans on an Honor Flight scheduled for May 19. This will be a co-sponsored Honor Flight in which Edgewood's FFA will be represented by Brooke Smith and Hunter Bontrager.
Thank you to the FFA for your service and support to our community, school and our veterans. We are truly proud of all you do and how you represent Edgewood in all your actions.
