Over 170 students experienced a long standing tradition at our Seven Mile Elementary School on the day before Thanksgiving break. A feast consisting of food shared at the first Thanksgiving meal was prepared for our students. Stories and songs were shared by each class about the first Thanksgiving. This special feast ended by students sharing gifts with each other, just as the Indians shared gifts with the pilgrims at the first Thanksgiving. It was an event everyone will remember for a long time! Thanks Mrs. Harrison and all your staff and parents for giving our students such a great learning experience about this special American holiday!
