Please join the Edgewood/Butler Tech FFA in supporting local veterans by attending a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, November 4th at Edgewood High School. The event takes place from 8:00am to 10:00am.
The purpose of the breakfast is to recognize veterans in our community, and to raise money for the Honor Flight program. All local veterans and active military members who attend will be recognized and will receive an appreciation gift. Funds raised will be donated to Honor Flight Dayton to sponsor veterans for a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Washington D.C. to visit the war memorials built in their honor. General admission for the breakfast is $5/person; veterans, active military, and children under 7 are free. Please contact the Edgewood/Butler Tech FFA if you have any questions (firstname.lastname@example.org or (513) 867-6300, ext. 4304).
In addition to the Pancake Breakfast on November 4th, a Welcome Home celebration is scheduled for veterans returning from an Honor Flight that evening. All are welcome to join the Edgewood FFA students, parents and teachers at the Dayton International Airport for this event. Optional bus transportation from Edgewood High School will be provided for those wishing to travel to Dayton. The bus will leave at 6:45 pm and will return to EHS by 12:30 am. If you are interested in traveling to Dayton, contact Kellie Beiser at email@example.com by Monday, October 30.
