From the Principal
January 1, 2008
Winter is quickly approaching. With so much going on at this busy time of year, it is a true blessing to sit and reflect on the wonderful things that are going on in our school. Our third graders recently received their October reading scores on the Ohio Achievement Test. Our results indicate that over 68% of our students passed on the first round. (An increase of 10% as compared to last year's October results.)
Just a reminder, if there is a possibility of a delay or closing of school due to inclement weather, please listen to the local television or radio station for information. You can also get up-to-date information by logging on to www.edgewoodschools.com
As we enter the holiday season, I wish peace and joy to everyone in our school family. I am truly thankful for the many things that our students, and staff accomplish and I look forward with great anticipation for the many wonderful things to come.
Listed below are several important dates for the beginning of the 2008 school year.
