Vision
Our community of students and staff will be actively involved in learning and real world problem-solving through integration of curriculum, the use of technology, and dynamic exchange with our world. Everyone at Edgewood Middle School will be concerned with producing quality work. To achieve this, all students and parents will understand learning expectations. Powerful learning will result from collegial interaction and shared decision-making among staff, students, and community. Students will be taught with respect to various learning styles through studentcentered instruction that is task rather than time driven. Assessment will consist of flexible and varied strategies. Edgewood Middle School will encourage an environment of high expectations, mutual respect, and responsibility.
