It is with great pride that I introduce myself to you as the new Edgewood High School Principal. I am excited and truly blessed to be serving the Edgewood Community in this capacity and look forward to working with such a caring and dedicated community and staff in order to meet the needs of all of our students. With the school year just around the corner, I hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer break! I want to thank you in advance for your commitment to Edgewood High School.

Edgewood High School serves nearly 1,000 students every day. We have strong partnerships with local businesses, colleges and universities as we seek to offer new experiences. 21st Century Learning is our focus in the classroom and in our co-curricular opportunities for all students.

At Edgewood High School, we are proud of our students' achievement, our staff's dedication, our parents' commitment, and the community's support. We pride ourselves on rallying around a cause and reaching excellence. EHS students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities. Our staff makes every effort to improve upon that school experience by striving to meet the interests and needs of all of our students. We believe that through their participation, they will accept ownership, learn cooperation, teamwork and as a result increase their overall chances for success in school and life.

I will take seriously my responsibility to support, maintain and enforce the policies as set forth by the Edgewood Board of Education. Furthermore, I will support and cultivate strong, effective master teachers, and provide the necessary assistance and support to staff so that they may have a positive impact on the development of each child they influence at Edgewood High School and in the community.
