Parent volunteer groups have for a long time played a major role is supporting schools throughout the Untied States. Becoming part of a PTA is a great way to help support your local school systems. At Edgewood we are supported by our Edgewood Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (Edgewood Elementary PTO) and our Middle School association A.P.P.L.E.S. (All Proud Parents Love Edgewood Schools).
The Edgewood Elementary PTO meets monthly on the second Tuesday of every month at one of the Elementary buildings. Their goals are to support our schools through various fundraising and volunteering their time to ehlp in all the buidlings.
A.P.P.L.E.S meets on an as needed basis, and helps support not only classroom activity but plays a major role in raising money for the middle school athletic teams.
