Edgewood City Schools and its staff believe that athletics are an important part of the total school program. Athletics can teach participants the value of cooperation and working together to achieve team and individual goals. In as much as we support our athletes and our teams, we realize and respect that participation is a privilege not a right. Every athlete is made aware that he or she represents the entire Edgewood Community and therefore must conduct his or her selves to high standards of behavior.

Each athlete is required to read and sign the athletic code of conduct policy, which is available through the athletic department or on the district web site. Edgewood offers a variety of athletic opportunities in both men's and women sports in both high school and middle school competition.
