The guidance department at Edgewood High School helps your child with many services such as the testing program, the decision making process for choosing courses, careers, and colleges, and the problem solving process for students with learning or personal issues.

The guidance counselors are trained to help. That is their mission at Edgewood High School.

There are three counselors. Mrs. Katy Corban, Mrs. Andrea Crain, and Mr. Chris Stratton.

Students are assigned to counselors by the student's last name or grade:
Mrs. Corban D-L
Mrs. Crain M-Z & Vocational
Mr. Stratton Freshman class A-C

PSAT for Sophomores and Juniors Test Date – October 13th Sign up in Student Services by September 21st The PSAT is a practice test for the SAT, a college entrance exam. This exam is also used as the qualifier for the National Merit Scholarship competition for Juniors. Sophomores may take it as a practice and then again as a Junior for the competition. The cost of the exam is only $13.00. Please call the guidance counselors at the high school if you have any questions.
